Pizza Dough Recipe

The perfect basic pizza dough recipe – 4-5 servings

500 gram “00” flour (or Plain flour can be used)
2 teaspoons honey
300ml warm water
7 gram yeast
2 teaspoons salt
2 tablespoons olive oil

Mix the yeast, water and honey together for approx 15 mins
Add salt and oil and mix
Add flour
Kneed for 15-20 mins (use semolina flour if rolling)

Cover the dough and let it rise. The dough can then be cut into small balls 200/220 grams and put into the proving box to rise further.

Alternatively you can buy pizza dough from the supermarket!

And for the sauce...

Tin of plum tomatoes 400g
1 clove garlic
1 teaspoon sugar
1 tablespoon olive oil
Salt & black pepper
Fresh basil
Blend and heat it up

When it comes to the toppings just let your imagination run wild!
